Project Name: Imprecise Pragmatic Portraiture.
Year: 2019

Held as an interactive exhibition, Imprecise Pragmatic Portraiture was an exhibition held in which visitors were invited to sit for a portrait shot with a pinhole camera. Given the extended exposure time of the camera the exhibition looked to highlight the photographer, model dynamic within the moment of exposure.

It was pretty fun telling people to wait while the frame exposed, sometimes it lead to bafflement, annoyance, but the majority of people enjoyed it. What really sucked was when you lost a bunch of exposures through poor craftsmanship, and then had to let people down by explaining that you’re just a shit photographer.
